Building bridges between technology, education and society

Founded in Paris in 2026, LUMEN is a public-interest association working on education, citizenship, the environment and digital skills.

01Our story

An association that brings the light of knowledge where it is missing

LUMEN was born from a simple observation: digital transformation is moving fast, but not for everyone. Too many young people are left out of future skills, artificial intelligence and mobility opportunities in Europe.

We chose the name LUMEN, "light" in Latin, because our role is to shed light: to make knowledge accessible, show the paths that exist and support those who take them.

Our purpose (statutes)

To promote non-formal education, digital transformation and technological innovation among young people and professionals through European and international mobility projects, to develop training in future skills (Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence), to support the exchange of good practice and to encourage active citizenship.
